Chris Old's home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, in a sunny position with a secluded garden to rear of the property facing south & west. The garden looks particularly attractive in the spring. There is a large patio area at the rear suitable for eating outside, overlooking the garden. The patio extends across the width of the house and is deep enough for garden furniture. There is also space for a barbecue.

Chris Old's House is located within easy reach of Falmouth town centre, where there is a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are many amenities in Falmouth from high street banks to passenger ferry's to other parts of the harbour, as far up the river as Truro or across to the Helford River. There are also leisure facilities such as Ships and Castles swimming pool and fitness suite, and Ocean Bowl ten pin bowling as well as places to visit such as Pendennis Castle and the Maritime Museum. The many beaches are within easy reach by car or bus, or for the more energetic about a 25 minute walk.

Falmouth is famous for its history as a busy harbour and the Packet Ships. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is situated near to Port Pendennis, by the harbour. The Maritime Museum will help you to discover more of Falmouth's history and present day connections with the sea.
